What's up with all the dark, brooding car pictures, you ask?
Last weekend I was at the
Antique Auto Museum of America Museum. For those of you that know me, I'm kind of a car fan girl. In fact, I did what one of my friends would call "flaily hands" when I walked in to the main showroom. Sure, I've splooged you all with nature shots and whatnot, but I have a soft spot for cars. In fact, I've spent the whole of my professional career in the automotive industry.
I am also bored.
So, I decided for something different for this last shoot. Sure, I could have taken a bunch of perfect photos of these great cars. I wanted to have fun.
When I walked in and saw the cars from the 30's and 40's, I went right to film noir. I wanted something dark, moody, gritty and imperfect.
So there you are.
I had fun.
