Out of interest. What are the benefits your finding of using 120 over 35mm. I'm told that medium format is like a whole different world to small format, however, as I've never really used film I wouldn't know.

Also, you may be pleased to know, I'm now sporting all primes. I sold my 80-200mm f/2.8 in order to buy an 85mm f/1.8 and 35mm f/2. Maybe one of the best ideas I've ever had, both lenses are awesome.

120 is a larger format so you capture more information. Hence, more detail and clarity. Remember, the 35mm neg is almost 5 times smaller than the 67 neg.

It's all about the format size it seems. The only problem I suppose is that the glass would have to be of a higher quality to perform well edge to edge on the larger negative, driving the price up. Maybe when I've got a job and am no longer indebted to the government, I'll give it a shot. Though, the RB67 system isn't really that pricey (relatively).

I think I have always preferred primes. I don't really need the ability to zoom for what I'm shooting, so it just makes it a bit awkward. I feel a bit like I don't know what to do with a zoom lens. I'd rather have a choice of lenses which know what they are doing and do it well, rather than a smaller choice of lenses which try to do a lot more but at varying quality.

The glass is definitely nicer in larger format photography!
